The attached results are from one of my old client’s store which was developed from scratch by me. You can say that I learned a lot from this store. Let’s start!

My main focus on this store was to rank for main terms (Main keywords) which were targetted in categories. So I did in-depth keyword research by scrapping the competitors’ keywords and also used some other methods, like; Google Instant, ahrefs keyword explore, etc.
Grouped all keywords to form a good quality piece of content and that was shared with writers as well.
I also did keyword research for products but I chose small search volume keywords and that worked really well.

The second step that comes after kwr is the content plan. I asked the writer to use an extreme commercial tone category description and use all relevant keywords. My main focus was to write for SEO because, in Ecom SEO, very less people read category descriptions.

I published all the content received from the writer for categories with basic Onpage SEO which every SEO knows, like; Title, proper HTML tags, meta title descriptions, image alt tags, etc.

I asked my team to publish daily content on the social media channels of the website but I was aggressive on Pinterest because it has premium traffic and my target traffic is in the US.
